Move or Rehire Employee

There may be circumstances where you will need to move an Employee from one location to another or you want to re-hire a former employee.

Move Employee from one location to another

  1. You will have to terminate the current profile of the employee, so open the employee's current profile record and click "Edit".

  2. Change the "Employment Status" to "Terminated" and enter the "Date of Leaving" - this should be the last day of the work on their old location.

  3. Once the employee is "Terminated", click the "Copy Employee" button - this create a copy of the employee's profile so you don't have to re-enter it again.

  4. Open the employee's new profile in the "New Starters" view and then click "Edit".

  5. Now you have to assign the employee to their new location/store, assign their new reporting manager and any other changes you may want to perform and click "Save".

You have now moved the employee successfully to the new location.

Re-Hire an Employee

  1. Open the employee's profile record from the "Terminated" employees view whom you want to re-hire and click "Edit".

  2. Click the "Copy Employee" button - this create a copy of the employee's profile so you don't have to re-enter it again.

  3. Open the employee's new profile in the "New Starters" view and then click "Edit".

  4. Now you can make any changes you want for this employee like assigning to a store, assign their new reporting manager and any other changes and click "Save".

You have now re-hired the employee.
